Machine Sciences Secures Investment from Viking Global Investors to Expand U.S. Advanced Manufacturing Capabilities for Space and Satellite Platform

TUALATIN, Ore. (October 30, 2025) — Machine Sciences, a leading aerospace component supplier and precision manufacturer, today announced a strategic investment by Viking Global Investors (“Viking”), a global investment firm based in the U.S. with over $55 billion of capital under management. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.


Founded in 2001, Machine Sciences specializes in precision-engineered metallic components for next generation space, satellite, UAV, and counter-UAS platforms. The company’s prototype-to-production offering provides sophisticated design for manufacturability and engineering services. The investment by Viking will help support Machine Sciences’ continued expansion organically and through M&A.

Machine Sciences' CEO and existing executive leadership team will remain in their current roles. Hans Reuter and Josh Rowley of Viking will join the Machine Sciences board of directors. Machine Sciences was advised by KAL Capital Markets LLC and Tonkon Torp LLP. Viking was advised by Latham & Watkins LLP.
