Machine Sciences has completed the installation of a 5 machine 5-axis machining department, tied together with a Fastems Linear Cell System.

Boasting 3 GROB 550 machining centers and 2 GROB 550T machining centers with complex mill-turn capabilities, the new technology-forward department will augment the company’s already advanced capabilities and capacity.

This advanced setup enables near-constant machining for our customers and operation, including lights-out production.

Customers will benefit from a substantial increase in complex machining capacity, paired with tight tolerance repeatability, and augmented line-of-sight on delivery. These machines are tooled up and highly capable of volume production, as well tight tolerance prototyping.
