CMM Programmer/Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software

  • Efficiently operate CMM with flexibility and quick changes

  • Identify any special fixturing or tools needed

  • Work with Inspector to ensure parts are running correctly

  • Ensure all electronic CMM data is filed on the server

  • Complete 1st  article reports

  • Be able to use all inspection equipment including height gauge, optical comparator and various hand tools.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Ensure parts are running correctly on machines daily

  • Train and educate new employees that run machine in inspection

Qualifications:

  • GD+T print reading abilities

  • Mastercam knowledge a plus

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Ability to work with co-workers and supervisors

​

  • 2 yrs min CMM experience

  • 2 yrs minimum Quality experience

  • 2 yrs blueprint reading skills including
